Whether you are facing wrongful termination, discrimination, or unfair dismissal, rest assured I am here to assist you through whatever you’re going through.

Employment Law Services

  • Advice on all aspects of employment law, including wrongful dismissal, discrimination, unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, whistleblowing claims, disability discrimination, and TUPE related claims.
  • Representation in the employment tribunal
  • Advice on negotiating settlements
  • Advice on drafting and reviewing employment contracts

I understand that legal matters can be costly, that’s why I offer “no win no fee” employment law services, so you can have peace of mind knowing that you are not taking a risk when seeking my legal advice and representation.

I have a wealth of experience in representing clients in the Employment Tribunal throughout Southeast England, but over the last few years with the increased use of Zoom and other digital means of communication, I can offer advice and drafting services wherever you are based. I also sometimes represent people outside South East England in person.

At Robin Robison Limited, I fully believe in providing my clients a world-class level of service and advice to ensure that they remain fully informed over the course of their case.

Examples of employment cases

Examples of problems I would be able to help with are:

  • My employer has dismissed me and I believe this is an unfair dismissal.
  • I believe that I have been discriminated against by my employer and I need to know if I might have a case against them.
  • I have been dismissed by my employer and I believe this is because I “blew the whistle” about something important and I need advice about whether I might have a case against my ex-employer.
  • I have been harassed or discriminated against by my employer because of race/disability/nationality/religion or sex.
  • I have been badly treated by my employer and I am considering resigning, can I claim that this is a constructive dismissal and is this a wise course of action?
  • My employer has not paid me all that I am due under my contract.
  • I’m not sure if I am an employee or not and what rights I have.
  • I have been made redundant and I believe that the process was unfair and or discriminatory.
  • I have lost my case at the Employment Tribunal and need to know if I can appeal or not.
  • I need representation for an appeal.
  • I am a small business and I need help defending an action in the Employment Tribunal against me.
  • I am a small business and I need advice about how I can avoid problems relating to possible discrimination claims in the future.

These headings above are just examples of the kinds of things I could help you with. I charge an hourly rate of £75 per hour, but the first 30 minutes are free, so we can have a free conversation in which I can help you decide if I am the right person to give you assistance or not. If I know that you will require someone else to assist you I will give you this information for free.

Representing you in your case

Once we have had a conversation and I have seen all the relevant documents and we decide together that litigation is the best route for your claim, I will give you an estimate of how much my services will cost for your claim. I will also give you an estimate if you already have a claim in the tribunal and are looking for advice and representation. I do not usually offer no-win-no-fee representation but will do so occasionally in suitable claims at my sole discretion.

Often litigation is not the best way to solve problems and should only be undertaken as a last resort after trying to resolve disputes in other ways. Sometimes all that is required is some advice that might assist you with understanding where you stand and what might be possible. I can assist with this too and provide you with a letter of advice at my usual hourly rate. How much advice and/or representation will cost, will be dependent on many factors, including the complexity of the case, the volume of documents, if it is a case in the tribunal, and how many days the case is listed for. In some cases, I will be happy to negotiate a fixed fee. Contact Robin Robison Ltd for more information.
